What are you guys using for diff fluid ?

I thinks of using Mobil 1 , does anybody have any input or

advice on what to use ? Thanks guys.

I used Amsoil 2000 75/90 it was only $1 more per quart than Mobil 1. Figured everyone raves about it being so good it was worth a try.

What Diff. Fluid?

Hi. Check 3 Gen. Engine and Drivetrain, Mopar Fluid, for Buffalo's 2 reply's. I did a little research with Amer. Axle and Texaco to try and find out what they recommend. I'm not 100% sure if you need to use these fluids to maintain your warranty, or not. But, you might find what I learned, in these reply's, interesting. Hope this helps. Joe Fihn (Buffalo)

I would like to put Red Line MTL 75-90 wt in mine so it's the same as the transmission. Anyone see a huge problem with that? As far as I can dissern it's just a differential with normal bearings and mine doesn't even have limited slip.

Lubrication Engineers. Very high-end Dino lube, supposedly outperforms many synthetics but has very poor low-temp properties (behaves like, um, Dino oil  )

I know some guys run LE diesel oil in their CTDs, I remember one guy doing oil analysis and his numbers went south and he switched back to synthetic. I don't recall who, when & where, one of those post long, long ago. . . . :(

My local NAPA has Valvoline "full synthetic" for $8. 62/quart. The only synthetic I have been able to find in Tooele. The local dealer wants $28. 00/quart. I believe Valvoline is a first rate company and will probably use that. No local amsoil dealer, so it would have to be shipped into town.
