What diff oil to use

I plan to install a Mag Hytec rear diff pan and was wondering what type and weight of oil to use. I have the trans pan and use the Mopar factory fluid.

The truck is stock except for a Banks exhaust and I plan to leave it that way.

Also, what mileage interval do you recommend for changing the diff. fluid?

What year truck? May want to include it in the sig so that we can better assist you.



Never had any problems with 75W-90 Valvoline. Use syn in the 04. 5, regular dino in the 98.



Change it once a year or about every 30K.



Check your owner manual for proper change intervals.
