Hey I am fairly new also, however DD stands for Diesel Dynamics, at least that is what I believe and the II is the stage injector. 1's are the weekest, then II's are a little stronger then III's are the big boys. Hope this helps.

ETH is the DC order code for the H. O. engine. Your transmission order code is DEE. DD's are Diesel Dynamics injecters, Stage I, II or III. EZ's and PE's are plug in boxes that alter the output from factory ECM to the injection pump to improve performance.
Do a search on some of the early 24 valve posts, lots of good info there.

Taking it one step further:
PE=Performance Edge Fuel computer module.
275's= RV injectors (more powerful than stock)

DDI's=Diesel Dynamics Stage 1 injectors. Slightly more than the 275's, plus they are flow matched.

DDII's=Higher # means more Fuel/HP/Torque/Smiles.

DDIII's= more of everything above.

BOMB'd=Better off modified. . baby!!

A few others you may or may not know:
FWIW=For what its worth
BTW=by the way
OMO=Only my opinion
IMO=In my opinion
IMHO= in my honest opinion
BIL=Brother in law

etc... ...

I use OE or OEM alot in my posts.

Others not referenced FWIW. Use the above decoder cheat sheet #ad

ISB = Interact System B. This is your engine type per Cummins

24v = 24 valves in your engine. Which BTW are the PROPER number of valves to have in an ISB #ad

Michael,

24v may be the PROPER number of valves, but I think the IDEAL number of valves is 12! #ad
