Hey guys turned on my BD RAD tonight and check engine light came on like always but now I cant get light to turn off. I usually flick ignition on off etc and usually clear it. I always see codes 1964 and 1963 before but tonight I noticed 1698,0234,0237 what do these codes mean and can I clear them let me know

P0234= turbo boost limit exceeded

P0237= map sensor voltage too low

P1698= No ccd messages recieved from pcm

These are from a 99 manual

what do these codes mean

I will check connections but codes did not come up till I tried to use the BD RAD before that there was only the 1963 and 1964 codes is my check engine light gonna stay on everytime I use this thing????????????

Yes, every time a serious code gets set, the light will come on, and will stay on until a pre determined number of start/run cycles that are code free.

The codes will stay until they are cleared by an OBD II scanner.

You need to figure out which of your boxes are setting the codes. If the BD and the Edge Comp are stacked, (isn't the BD RAD a re-badged EZ, and therefore should not be stacked with a comp?) at least make sure the MAP portion of the Comp is last in line to the OEM harness (MAP - BD RAD - Edge Comp - Harness)

My bad, I did not know anything about the BD-Rad until this afternoon.

If the comp does not plug into it, then never mind the stacking statement.

Check your Edge Comp connections (clean and dielectric grease them at both ends), get the codes cleared, and try again. If they come back, more than likely it is your comp and you will need to call Edge.
