Origin of weird sayings?

I have a friend, who knows this guy....

If you could snap your fingers and your favorite food would appear, what would it be?

Myself, I like a med BBQ'ed tri tip with some beans and a good salad... not just lettuce and tomatos.

The house steak from the Cripple Creek in DelRio Texas. . best darn steak I've ever had in my life.

My wife just doesnt believe me that all the best steaks I've had in NY just dont even touch the quality and taste of the -good- steaks in Texas... never mind the house steak at the Cripple Creek...

Chicken fried steak & garlic mashed potatoes smothered in cream gravy, with broccoli casserole on the side. Then, a dish of cheese enchiladas, refried beans with jalepeno's mixed in, and fresh flour tortilla's for desert. Oh yeah, and a large Diet Coke :)

A King Cut prime rib, med rare, from the Pine Tree in New London WI. The cut is approx. 3-4 in. thick at a price of less than $25. I have driven 2-3 hours out of my way to have it. My dad, who was a butcher, said it is a 2-1/2 rib cut which he does not know how they do it for that price.

A good venison sausage comes in 2nd.

Ali'i (king, in hawaiian) cut of prime rib. Cut rare, then brought up to medium on the hottest part of the grill. Some call it texas style, i call it "hawaiian style". Give me that, a loaded baked potatoe and an ice cold bud light... ..... quick, somebody find me a bed!!

Shoulda been here Saturday- my lodge (El Campo #918, A. F. & A. M. ) did 60 briskets for a fundraiser. Pepper & spice rub, on the pit @ 0300 over live oak, off @ 1100. They don't need no sauce. I'll be eatin' some all week!:D

depends on the weather..

and the location...

If it's winter in my homeland, how-bout some squirrel dumplings and some kind of steamed veggies.

Summer, in the US..... big pile'o'ribs and the obligatory picnic/cookout sides

Summer, in the Philippines... . a barracuda with the juice of those little bitty lemons... . along with the obligatory rice, tomatoes (hide Mike E's gun) soy sauce, and lively conversation with lots of cousins and uncles... . 12 guys. 2 forks. one big-a$$ed toothy fish. discuss... pass the fork around... discuss some more
