What does Diesel fuel weigh?

Looking at 5th wheel RVs, and trying to compute the max pin weight to still be legal.

Need to know how much 34 gal of fuel weighs.

After doing an internet search on this, it seems that the weight of diesel fuel seems to vary, but 7 lbs per gallon seems to be a good average.

Well, as it turns out, I didn't even need to know the weight of fuel.

I just found out that "curb weight" includes fuel.

Thank god for that. If it didn't, I would be limited to a pin weight of less than 1000 pounds.

just for grins, oil is 8 lbs/gal, gasolene is 6 lbs/gal. Diesel should be midway between.
