Cant Find My "Manage Readers Rigs"

I was just curious on what criteria it takes to be a moderator and how they are chosen?

I don't have a problem with anything I just thought I would post a question out of curiosity. Others may also want to know.

Volunteer and we put you on the list for consideration. When we need a new one Robin and I look over the list of people and see if there's someone who seems like a good fit for the position we're looking to fill (active in that forum, etc). Then we look over that persons history to see if there have been problems with that user, and at their posts to see how they handle themselves. We then bring it to all the moderators for their input. Then we ask the person if they want it.

It's a thankless job - and to do it properly requires a mature, cool sense of judgement, fairness and impartiality that is beyond many individual's ability... ;)

And far more time than most of us have. Moose

seems that way. .

i kinda would have liked the title 'moderator' but i work way too much, trying to find a house and now i kinda got stuck with being VP of my union local lodge, i've got zero free time except for my rest days. . i need a 8 day long week, with 30 hours a day...
