What does my 47re need?

First, this is a great forum and second, I need your experience and advice. I have the S. O. motor w/ a 47re. I want and need to add power (mostly "want" :-laf ) to my truck for pulling my camper through the mountains of WV. However, I'm scared to do anything because of the transmission. What can I do, such as Edge EZ or Six Gun, without any transmission mods. The truck only has 11,000 miles on it and I hate the thought of spending big money on my transmission just quite yet.



Any advice????

you would be fine with an Edge ez

and i would also do at least a shift kit it will help in the shifts and line pressure,
