Like most of use in our youth I spent all my time under the hood until a lot later in life when I make more money and gotten a whole lot lazier. :0) Today I don't do the work, but maybe have to start. I took my truck in to the 5 star dealer today to have the 7500 mile service. I am doing the 3750 service schedule. I asked they do the service plus change the fuel filter then after looking at air clearner had them change that also, all that and doing oil and oil filter. Anyway that totaled $168 out the door which does not seem high for a dealer but certainly higher than if I did it myself. Did they make any mistakes? Yes ONE

after leaving cruise control did not work took back and they had knocked a vacuum line off. But I could have done the same thing so did not get to awfully excited. Did have to chastize just a little don't want them to comfortable.

Bob... ... ... That sounds reasonable for a Dodge dealer.
I just had my 5 spd. fluid changed at our local Dodge dealer. $124 total, $46 labor and the rest for the fluid.
What does your turbo saver do? Is it a quieting device and does it work?

Bob,you have to remember that when you take you rig to dealer for routine service most times a mechanic doesn't touch it. More than likely a minimum wage lot boy will do the work. It's definitely a case where the you get what you pay for rule doesn't apply. Learn how to do it yourself, laying under my truck is the best place to take a nap, everybody thinks you're working.
