Cummins marine engine parts?

looking for software for Cummins N14

I have been a member of this forum for a few years and have seen alot of pictures and read alot of stories about trucks doing their respective jobs i. e. - pulling sleds, trailers, other stuck vehicles, racing, dynoing, beta testing etc... .

We all know of trucks that see 10k miles a week and those that see 10k miles in a year or maybe even two years.

I have been thinking about this alot over the last few weeks as we have 2 trucks, 1 of them, the DRW, is the work horse and has spent most of its 120k+ miles towing a 30' gooseneck with 10k lbs - 20k lbs on it. On the other hand the SRW only has 25k miles and tows a 25' TT 6 months of the year and the rest of the year gets to go shopping and take the family around.

So, lets see and read what your truck or trucks do for their job or for fun!?!

I tow 24ft goose neck trailor full time doing service out of it rough 50 thousand milesa year give or take, Have not had to do any major repairs so decided to turn up a notch or two / I love it... He He :)

My truck gets me to work every day, and to wherever I decide to play on the weekend. Weather its the dragstrip or just some place in town.

When I was still in school I'd be doing about 500 miles a week, now im down to about 150 a week.

Its hooked to a trailer I'd say about 10% of the time.

Mine get me to and from all the diffrent job sites hualing all my tools and a bunch of odd stuff and pulls either my 1ft opencar hualler or my 24 enclosed with everything from funiture and house hold gods to jeeps to thousands of pounds of kitchen equipment, and it what i take on long road trips since theres realy isn't anything i enjoy driving as much, I put atleast 40k ayear on it.

Mine sits in the garage most of the time until i use it for pulling the trailer when needed, used for hunting as well,Since our trailer stays put at the lake most of the year i mostly drive it on the highway back and forth hauling supplies there with my flatdeck. (still landscapping the property-(fence/deck/garage etc). I drive a 91 Acura to work/run about---real cheap on fuel and ok to drive)

My truck gets me to and from school. And any where else I need to go.

For fun my truck does drag races, sled pulls and gets washed often!

i don't even need a truck. i juss love having one. i could get by with a honda civic or something. mines a commuter vehicle..... although the 4x4 comes in handy when i go on snowboarding trips and occasionally on mountain biking trips as well.

the amout of stuff you guys that work em hard do does make me proud that i have the capabilities. with the miles you all get on the working trucks i should expect to get a lot as mine has an easy life.

i've seen some of you on the freeways with HUGE loads and i think, "holy cr@p..... my truck can do that?"

CTD Livelyhood...

:D I haul about 500lbs of drumset around, mostly on the weekends up to 250-miles a weekend:-laf , and DIY project materials for my home. CTD works for me, got 24. 61mpg last weekend

Patrick.

Mine hauls our 92 Jeepspeed race truck to the races and is also the chase truck! It also pulls around our boat and anything else that needs to be moved!

Commuting mostly in the week. Though I quite often use it for side work hauling either my tools or parts if not both. Weekends it tows the boat, snowmachine trailer, dirtbikes, home improvement supplies. It earns its keep.

Tonight mine hauled 6 holstein steers (1450#avg), 1 hereford Bull (1900#), 1 hereford steer (1300#) and 10 hereford heifers (1100#)... all on one load.

Any wonder why its side job lately has been emptying my bank account?

Used to be my daily driver most of the year, but work is only 13 miles away, so I don't put many miles on. I ride my Harley to work most of the summer so the truck gets put on camper pulling duties in the warm weather. In the winter I try not to take it out in the salty conditions. That's what the 92 Jeep Cherokee is for. Believe it or not, I use the Jeep to plow driveways while the truck sits at home all nice and warm plugged in. Not that the truck couldn't handle snow, but it's actually too big for some of the driveways I have to do and the last thing I want to do is beat on it. I guess it has become more of a toy and toyhauler than an everyday work truck. I'm ok with this. Hopefully it will last a long, long time. Only has 76K on the odo after over 6 years of ownership. Still love it!
