Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What Fails In The Lp's ?

Does anybody know what physically fails in the lp's? Motor windings, brushes, too many on/off cycles, pump vane or valve? What about the quality you buy from various venders. JoeZ

What I have always heard was it is a plastic piece between the motor and the actual pump...



If the pump is working hard to pull the fuel, this plastic piece get stressed hard...
