I'm in the process of modifying the truck again, after the latest wreck, I'm going to be putting black buckstops front and back, line-x ing the bed and up to the first body line of the lower portion of the truck (I'm tired of the rock chips). I'm also planning on adding fender flares to the truck. I'd like your opinions on both the warn and bushwacker flares, also comment on how well each of them mount up as well and if you've had problems with either one.

If you select other, list the other brand or type, I want a wide flare as I'll be moving up to 35's when I buy my next set of tires.

Here is what the truck currently looks like:

Hi Morph

I voted for the (other) I have Xenons and I like them real well. I'll get a coulpe of pictures and post em.

morph,

I also voted for "other" having Xenons also. They are excellent. I too sprayed my rockers when I had my bed sprayed, and I could not be happier with the result. No more rock chips, and it looks great with the flares. ;)

go to stillens website and find them they are the best looking ones imo Have on a 2001 3500 with 22. 5's and you cant even tell they are flares they look like factory fenders I can send pic if somebody needs to see on truck

here are my Stillen fender flares.

They are similar to the Xenon's in that they are molded rubber as opposed to plastic. I believe it makes them more durable.

Do you guys have a website or something we can go to so we can see a picture of the Xenon flares. I too need a set of flares pretty bad. I not only get rock chips but about 3 weeks ago a piece of #2B gravel came off my tire and through my mirror.

Do the xenons solely mount with 3m tape? or do you guys throw a few screws in them? Anyone have any front side pics of them on a truck?

Erik

The Xenon Flares are also the ones that Ma Mopar uses for our trucks. They mount with a few screws and tape. They are the best fit as they will not interfere with the doors opening and closing. Most of the aftermarket ones I have seen mounted all end up compressing and rubbing the door as it opens all the way. The Warn 4X flare is about the second best fit.

Morph. .

I have some shots of Jetpilots former ride with the factory painted Xenon's and will find the CD and add a few for you here... ..... Andy

Thanks hammer, trucks going to the body shop in two weeks, then to the line-x dealer. It's a toss up right now on what brand I'll buy, still waiting on the insurance check to show up.

Xenons

Sorry it took so long, busy weekend and really slow dial up. Pictures are kinda crappy too. They are urethane, not rubber or plastic or fiberglass. These are painted black.

Just Installed Xenons

Now I hope the paint holds up! I had to move the Cummins badge up a little, but the install wasn't to tough.
