2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What group size battery??

What group size batteries are in the 99'??? Are they 27's... I can't seem to find it anywhere... Thanks...

Sears Diehards

Sears has a great group 27 battery. It is the Diehard GOLD.

The SUV battery is NOT a group 27 replacement.



I just pulled my Exide group 78 POS batteries and replaced with Diehards. I have an Espar which requires the group 27 battery performance.



Don't be swayed by CA and CCA marketing. Uless you are in temperate climates, the Ram needs a battery with good Reserve Capacity or RC. The Exide group 78 has 850 CCA, but only 100 minutes RC. The Diehard is a lowly 700 CA, but 135 minute RC.
