Cummins Mid-America - Kansas City - Great time!

Any Club close to Memphis?

Okay, am I not finding the results of this get together or is no one talking about it? I thought from the thread I read before this weekend the board would be full of information about it. All I've seen is that several people bought the new EZ box. Nothing about the out come of TDR Dodge members vehicles against the fords. What Happened? THANK YOU.

Well, I didn't stay till the finish, saw all the dodges run; very impressive. I had never seen these trucks worked like that. My sun got a real charge out of the tractor pulls, 1st time he'd every seen anything like that. He asked me why I didn't enter my truck. I had a hard time explaining that my truck wasn't set up for that type of pull. We watched all the Fords go-round once; unimpressive. Something about a "diesel" that doesn't sound like a "diesel".

From the lack of glowing reports on how our Rams kicked powerjoke butt, I'd guess the Ford boys must have taken the top place in all the pulls.

As a one time tractor puller I know that hp and torque alone isn't going to win pulls. You've got to also have the right combination of tires and weight distribution to have a real contender.

I stayed and watched both days. Piers at BD came away with top honors even though he only had a 2wd truck... he only needed one pull on day 2 to win. Adam also did very well with the top pull on day one and a very good pull on day 2 but ended short on day 2 because of a broken hitch. All in all, a very good showing by our Dodge boys. We all had a great time and I liked seeing the F*rds get a good spanking.

Thanks Paul, love to hear that. I saw some of the other scattered reports after I posted this but most were hints of what happened and if you weren't there not easy to follow.

I'd think that when an event like that is held and attended/participated in by TDR members, a specific thread to report results, opinions and observations to all members of the TDR afterwards would be in order(not just one specific group on the TDR). One where every TDR member that was there could express their views and results, or any variation of that. Like the Local/Regional Events Forum that currently exsist.

Even those of us that can't attend or participate like to hear what happened to those of you that did. Thank You.

Moved to Events forum. ldg - that's the purpose for the Local/Regional events forum. It doesn't necessarily have to be a TDR event to be in there.
