What happened to...

The thing at the head of a thread that said "Go to first unread post" (or something like that)? It was a lifesaver on long threads. It was there last night and now it's gone!

OK- it showed up on this topic but not any others. What is going on?

Hmmm - I just checked others and see it there as well...

Yeah - I noticed that sometimes those arrows aren't there. Other times they are there.

Arrows for unread topics are only there if there is a new post.

If it's an older post than there would be no unread topic. (even though you may not have read it)
