Hello all,

Last night I was getting on to the freeway and the truck started to vibrate and buck up and down violently (e-ticket ride at Disneyland). It was an uphill on-ramp and I was getting on the throttle pretty good. I honestly thought the truck was going to come apart! It continued even after I let off the throttle and finally quit as I began breaking and moving to the right. Once it quit, the truck drove normally and I can't see any obvious causes. Any thoughts??

My truck is a 95 4X4 x-cab, BD 300/3000 pump with 230 injectors. The transmission is an auto from BD and the rear is 3. 54.

Thanks for the help!

Hmm not shure but if it was in the front end check your trac bar & balljoints. My 97 was doing the same thing. It turned out to be a bad lower bushing on the trac bar (axle end), it also caused popping & chattering in the front axle while I was in 4x4.

It sounds like a bad track bar (the death wobble). Have somone turn the steering wheel to the right and left with the truck running while you crawl under and look at the ball joint where the track bar attaches to the frame and where the bar bushing attaches to the axle. Look for sloppy movemet.
