What happen's when I load 400 hp into truck

"Ok", I have a Edge juice and attitude (100 hp), and a PPE hot Excelerator (300 crank hp), one stock auto( 48re) tran's, one stock cummins eng, stock fuel pump, stock injector's,one kfe air intake, one 5" exhaust,on my 2004. 5 3500.

What will happen if I up load the 300 hp and put the attitude control on the extreme setting?.

I think it will be a lot of fun, but your trans will probably not like it, as others have stated.



I'd worry about the low pressure fuel side of things. A pressure box on the 60hp setting can pull the fuel pressure down to zero. I bet with your setup your CP3 will working in a vacuum.

I know there is no box that will add 300 hp to an otherwise stock third gen so what is this PPE thing-a-ma-jig? Are we talking 300 crank hp total... like an addition of 40-50? Little confused here.

First you will fry your turbo, than you destroy your TC, next on the list you will rattle or stretch your head bolts ,after that you will melt pistons,your fuel system will do a slow death do to starvation. Your tires will be Bologna skins ready to be ship to Mexico for resale.

the company is pacific performance engineering or ppe. www.pacificp.com the 300 is at the flywheel so actual is about 180ish about the same as a hot juice. it plugs into the obd port and takes out your stock program and replaces it with their program. they have 3 or so levels you can put in. also reads codes and erases them. tried this on my buddies 04. 5 stacked with the hot juice and ez. lots and lots and lots of black smoke on the low end not much difference on top end. I think you would need twins and injectors to be able to use all 3 together. ran by itself without juice and ez and can't tell the difference between ppe and hot juice, mind you this is seat of pants feel not on a dyno.

you can't add all the hp numbers together and expect to have and additional 400hp. your stock cummins is about 260-270 hp at the rear wheels. the juice adds 100 at the rear wheels. the ppe on extreme is about 180ish to rear wheels, all together if you had the turbo and fuel system to support these your total additional hp to the rear wheels would be about 180 over stock. so you have close to 400hp, not 400 more than stock.

This makes sense. I'd say 300 hp is a generous number.
