Thank you for the Information. Its a automatic trans. Its has plenty of power and pulls the hills very good In fact as good as my 2004 one ton dually pickup. I try to take care of my trucks. They sit In the garage all clean up ready for the next trip. :-lafLsfarm said:If you look on the driver's side of the timing gear/injection pump gear case there is a specification plate. This plate is about 1" wide and about 6" long. It is mounted on the vertical side of the gear case. It faces the driver-side battery. You have to almost stand on your head to read it, or use a mirror. It will state valve clearances, stock timing spec. CPL#, engine serial# and HP.
I would guess it is the same as the pickup truck engines, 160hp with auto trans and 175 hp ? with stick shift trans.
Did you tab or stake in place the KDP yet?? If not put it at the top of the 'to-do' list.
Hope this helps, Greg L
