First pic shows a hose attached to something front right axle.

Second pic shows a place in the block I think it goes. Its located on pass side, close to oil pan almost straight down from windshield.

The fluid coming out of the hose looks like fresh bright green coolant, but feels and smells like oil.

What is it and how do I fix it?

Thanks

Jason

That is the vent for the front axle. Can't remember what it hooks to but it goes up along the right hand inner fender. It is missing the little cap that keeps the dirt out.
If you don't get any feedback on it's location I will pop the hood later on the '97 and get you a picture.
It does not connect to the engine... .
Mike. :)

Thanks Mike, makes sense, its been sitting on the side of a hill since thur with the right side about a foot and a half lower than the left. We came out to leave the inlaws Oo. then I saw the fluid on the ground #@$%!(I'm done, I just want to get out of here!) I'll just zip it up somewhere and figure it out when we get home.

Why does the fluid look like coolant?

It threads up by the spring on the hood right side. Its a breather hose. There should be a clip to hold it up there. Reason its long is to keep water out of it, and high and dry.

pic of where it mounts on the passenger side and comes down right by the brake hose. Figured I'd snap a couple of shots, raining cats and dogs, off all week and cant do any hutning in this crap, grilling and drinking beer
