i took 330s off and put on ddpII's and they are not too far apart, i think the ddp's are a touch bigger from the smoke but it is a little hotter now and thus a more smoky time of the year for my tune, i can hit 1250* with less of a flogging (the 330s would hit 1200* right at the top of the usable rpm range in top gear climbing the big bridge on the way home, i can get there on flat ground with the ddpII's with a little gear left) i missed out on the best comparasen with towing a 24' dual wheel tandem gooseneck moving our shop but i started running it after i swapped the sticks, i make anywhere from 1-5 trips a day the 3-4 miles to the new place with various crap on the way down but empty on the flog back, a hard run though the gears gets it to 1250 about 3/4 of the way though direct drive ("3rd" 4th gear) with it to the mat, it is near 100* ambient or more with the ac on iceberg and my auxiliary electric fan on high to maximize the ac, i suspect my 3. 5 year old bhaf sucking the under hood air is not helping either, a decent cold air and moving the plate back a touch would cool it down but i don't have any hills to pull so backing off when it heats up gets the job done
that kinda turned into rambling crap but may yield something useful, or not
general impressions between the injectors, the ddpII's may be good for 3/4 of a mpg better or so, i think the 330s may of hit a little harder on the top end but that may be a function of needing more air for the extra fuel being shot, i need to work a little harder with the ddp's to not fog the cars behind me for the same afc adjustment, which i have not touched since the injector swap but i am going to be doing a turbo soon (he351vg) and kinda wanna use the smoke level i have now to see how it does
