What I did this weekend - kids trail ride. What a blast!!!

This last weekend Samantha and I went to the CCC kids trail ride (& camp) in Kalkaska, MI. Her riding has REALLY improved! Saturday she rode from when we woke up until just after sunset including a 6 mile trail ride - 4 miles of that being actual single track through the woods. A number of us parents got together and got a couple group rides going. On Saturday we marshaled 7 kids on 50's and 1 girl on a quad through the woods and on Sunday it was 5 on 50's and the one girl on a quad. At one point on Saturday I had 4 little girls and one boy right in a line in front of me going through a whoops section in the woods. I felt like a mother duck with her ducklings. I was laughing like a little school girl I was having sooooo much fun!! Watching and helping those little kids was I think the most fun I've ever had on two wheels. Truly the time of my life.

Very cool. I have a Chinese knock off of the old Honda Trail 70s from the late 60s. Bought it a couple of years ago. . this past weekend, went to my family reunion and took the bike along, thinking my son would ride a little bit... Between him and several other kids/adults they put over 100 miles on the bike in two days. . Primary running through a 4 acre field...

Was great to see them have so much fun on it...
