What would you do if you went to work one day only to find Doc Tinker's now your boss? How would you react?

Would the nice men in white coats and the strange jacket be required? Would you take to wearing full body armor? Might you groan in despair, knowing you'll be subjected to endless, irrelevant questions? Would you implant a subcutaneous transponder under his skin and always wear a proximity alarm, so you could run away before he gets too close?

 :--) Yes,yes, yes, yes. It would be the end of my life. Doc would fire me,commit me,make me work with Whitmore:eek: and who knows what else. You talk about a living h***I don't even want to think about it. This question of yours just started my day off wrong. Did Doc put you up to this?Do you work for him?Now he has somebody asking questions for him. What is next?

I don't think it would be that bad as long as you NEVER GET INJURED ON THE JOB. Instead of taking you to the Hospital, he might attempt the repair!

You'd always know when he was coming your way. His "Theme Music" would be played by his theme music band who follows him everywhere he goes. It wouldn't be too bad unless he had you over at his house all the time doing his chores for him. 1. pulling stumps, 2. counting his deer heard, 3. Keeping the birds from eating his koi, 4. etc, etc, etc. :)

I did not catch the pay scale. That would make a difference. You realize, that you would not get much done. You would be busy answering theoretical questions all day long.

I already did. :D

But before that, I had 3 bosses that told me that they were going to run me off. :-laf

They all quit and, at last report, may never get to retire! ;)

Now that you mention it. .

I got a promotion, of sorts, that puts me in charge a a few college kids. Two of them will stay on after the summer job ends.

About the time the school district made me boss over these kids, they moved us all to a building all by ourselves. Wonder why they did that?

Today, me and a couple of the kids finished a job in another building and we all headed to our building to end our day. On the way there, I stopped for a milkshake at the Dairy Twist. The boys don't have keys for our building yet, so they couldn't get in until I got there. When I finally showed up, the kids' cars were sitting there, but they were nowhere to be seen. As I walked up to the building, I heard some noise on the roof, and guess who was up there looking at me? At least they were productive while they were up there. They threw down a bunch of tree branches, tennis balls and a picnic table. I wonder who put the picnic table on the roof?

Did I mention that all of these kids belong to former school board members?

Doc
