Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What injectors and Delivery Valves do I have?

Is there anyway that I can identify what kind of injectors and delivery valves I have?

stock truck? DV's say have the # on the little valve. youll have to pull the injector out and match the #'s off that. what year and trans. if its stock i can tell you.

As Mr. Tighe said, what truck you got. The funny thing, check the 191's and look at the 94 pumps deliverys.

Sorry, some more info. would have been helpful. The truck is a '98 12v w/ 5spd transmission. It's not stock. When we got the truck the previous owner said that the injectors were from Dr. Performance, and there had been some pump work done. I am currently looking into buying Lenny's stage 4 inj. and getting some pump work done at a shop in Knoxville. I'd rather not use the injs. that I have for a core if I can sell them and maybe make a little money off the deal. I also may be able to sell the DV's. That's why I asked if there was a way to ID DV and inj.

Oh yeah does anyone know how to create a signature so people know what I have, it has me totally stumped.

A stock '96-'98 5 speed will have 181 delivery valves and 215 injectors. Look at the USER CONTROL PANEL to set up a sig.



My recommendation on pump work: pull it and send it to one of the shops that are regarded well on here. I've done it both ways and you'll get much better results with someone tuning the pump that's already done a couple hundred instead of a local shop that hasn't.

this will tell you how to get to the DV's. just look on the top of the valve for the number. youll need the special socket to get to them though. check the classifieds here. there is usually a set of old injectors for sale for cheap.
