AC, No I am not on the original clutch. I have it wrote down somewhere but think the origalal clutch held for about 12,000 miles after the injectors and ez. It was not tore up but it did slip in a hard pull when I gave it the go juice. I could eaze into it and I was fine. Easing into it is not fun at a redlght when a Powerstroke is next to ya and you both have trailers behind you.

I thought the DDIII's had issues overheating unless you upgraded your turbo. I have the money for injectors and a clutch but that's about it. I want the wife to be able to tow the horses without worrying about the EGT's too much. I can hear the argument now... . :-{} Is it easy to overheat the engine running the 3's? How much of a difference is there between the 2"s and the DD3's?

AC, before I upgraded my turbo, I ran DDIII's, an EZ, and a PM comp, STOCK turbo. I towed (various weights), raced, and sled pulled with it, the stock turbo is still alive, and so is my engine. Towing in the hills, in 5th gear all day no EGT trouble, 6th gear on the flat, or minor hills, no trouble, watch the gauges (thats why they are there ;) ) and you'll be fine.
