Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What interface to buy?????????/

I want to buy a laptop interface to read codes and monitor my engine. What is a good one? I need to get it this week. I am start to worry about getting home. 1693 and power loss gettting worse.

Are there any that will let you change settings? I see the cummins powerspec but it looks to be nondodge.
