I want to get more HP from my truck and was going to get a #5 plate to go with the 370 injectors I have on order from Piers. But I see a lot of signatures with a #4 or #0 plate what are they and what can be expected from their use?
Piers will ask you what kinda power do you want at the end, 370 will fuel like heck with any plate but fueling is ridiculous with a #4 and worse with a #0 as they are both off the charts. Read my sig, mine will make 1500 degrees by the 2-3 shift, that's 0-60 MPH and my plate is say . 050 back from the middle of the slot..... does that tell you anything of the capability
I'd stick with your current #8 plate and just put in the 370's for now. I'm running the number 6 full forward and am at my fueling limit until I do something serious in the turbo area You won't believe how much more fueling the 370's will give you when added to your current set up.
I called Mark @ TST & asked him about the #4. He said it was designed for the auto pumps with gov spring kits.
Well ... figured it ought to work just fine in a 215 pump with gov springs. Boy did it! Can't do it with the HX35 in the 215 pump though. One thing about it though, you can slide it around & find it's egt sweet spot. And it's bunches cheaper than injectors.
