Auto transmission Bind in Park Position

I'm assuming it's the enlarged tire valve stem looking thing sticking out the back of the fuel filter. Is it used for bleeding the air out of the filter after a change?

The schraeder valve referred to in my post about my lift pump, is the one located on the fuel injection pump at the front driver's side of the engine block. Before hooking up a full-time fuel pressure gauge,the core can be removed with a valve core remover tool, the same thing you use to let the air out of cop's tires #ad
while they're in Dunkin Donuts.
