What is the standard time allotted to remove and replace a hydroboost on a 2006 Ram 2500? I have to get this done and want to make sure the shop is not overcharging for labor time.
Thanks
George

And as always, this time is for new vehicle with new parts and everything goes straight forward.
No rusted bolts, no wiring in the way, no nothing.

Thanks. And Ozy, understood. In my current situation, it was replaced in Sept and is leaking again (the new part failed and so has to be replaced again). Shop is saying they will warranty the part, but I have to pay labor. I am going to argue with them when I go pick up today (hopefully) and wanted some facts at my disposal!

Appreciate the quick responses

Most shops now charge flat rate for repairs. Above is what AllData, the most popular repair shop computer system available, shows for flat rate. The "Warranty" time is what you're talking about for a new vehicle. That's what a dealer would get paid by the manufacturer for the job if it was warranty. For shop repair, it would be "Standard".
