I went across the street from my office to an electrical supply house, lots of computer type electronics. I asked for dielectric grease, and he did not know what I was talking about. I got some white lithium grease, will this do the trick? Should I try radio shack?

If you go to Wal-Mart, in the section with all the automotive light bulbs, you can find a small tube of what they call "Bulb Grease". Basically it's the same thing, you can can add it to electric connections to ensure a good connection. I just put some on my EZ connection last night.

Don't use the white lithium grease as a substitute. It might work but just get the real stuff. The dielectric grease is used to prevent water from breaking up electrical connections in less than desirable locations as well as act as a lubricant and prevent corrosion. It really works great in conjunction with trailer plugs.

Di hi grease

I found some at Auto Zone tonight but didn't get close to it, it was $7. 99 for a small can, about 3 or 4 oz. bg
