A local guy has a 1995 2500 reg cab 4x4 SLT Laramie CTD for sale. Auto,PW,PDL,infinity sound, power driver seat. Loaded. Always garaged. It is dark red with dark red cloth interior. 62,000 Original miles!! Oil has been changed every 3,000 miles with Rotella and Fleetguard filter. 4wd used twice he said. It also has a hard bed cover and not a dent in the bed. No oil leaks or transmission leaks. Like new BFG all-terrains. He is selling it because he ordered a new megacab.

Book value is about $9K, might be able to get $10K or a little more to the right buyer. I sold my '99 reg cab with twice that many miles about 6 weeks ago for $16K. Just got to find the right person. The guy who bought it was the first one I talked to and never got another call after him. These trucks really hold their value well.

I figured on $10k being a fair price. He is asking $12,900. The truck needs nothing. All the weatherstripping looks like new. The paint is perfect but my '95 has peel spots all over it. I hate to buy this one and 6months from now it starts bubbling and peeling.

good deal

4 months ago I bought a 96 4X4 5 speed regular cab from the original owner. Maroon in color. Not a scratch or dent anywhere even in the bed. It had a camper which I sold. It had 115K miles on it and a brand new set of Michelin tires. I gave $12,700. After looking at it I would have paid $14,000 for it. 12 valves are very hard to find in this condition and if you don't want to buy that truck for 12,900 than I know 5 people who would be happy to pay that. What is the number so I can call this guy?

Pay the man his $12,900 and grab that puppy before he changes his mind . . with 62K miles it is not even broken in yet!!

Pity it is a reg cab . . looking for a club cab here

good paint

You said that it was a dark red? I'm assuming that is maroon. I know the two worst colors for pealing are white and the silver. I have owned a white 94 at 80K the paint started pealing. It was so bad I took it to the car wash to strip the paint. I have also owned a 94 maroon and the paint lasted until I sold it at 267K. I have been told that the red and maroon are the two strongest paints that came out of the 90's. Keep it waxed three times a year and you should be good. Andy
