What is out there for the 06's

Just got an 06 and now have lots of questions - any bombs to gain MPG that are dependable?

What is the story behind the 6 spd G-56?

What other differences are there between my 03 and this 06?

I could go on, but this should get the ball rolling.

ive had the quad xzt for about 2000 miles 65 HP gain really wakes up the truck. i was getting about 14mpg with the winter blend here in wyo. after installing the chip i can get 15. 5-17 depending on what i am doing (city/highway) I never thought 65HP would feel this noticable.

Tst Power Max CR works on em, if you already have one you just have to kick down 75 bucks for the new wiring harness. I need to order mine tomarrow. The timing in the TST would do good on fuel mileage. I have noticed great mileage out of my truck already, despite only having 1200 miles I can get 18-20 freeway. I too traded an 03 6sp for this, but went for the auto this go around. I am still waiting on part numbers from edge so I can add them to my price lists. TS MP8 will work on em too, but just beware of aggressive pressure boxes. They have been know to cause alot of injector problems.

#1 choice - Superchips new downloader. The TS MP-8, Edge EZ, Quad XZT, Bullydog Tripledog and TST Powermax all work on it. I would choose the Quad XZT if I were looking for just fuel mileage. For top power the TST would be my first choice.

I have heard some verbal statements about this transmission, but I was hoping to have someone on this sight either inform me or direct me to "good information"

If it is milage you want I would go with the new superchips flashpaq. My truck went from getting 14mpg on the highway to 24. 2mpg on the highway.
