Anyone using the 6" EZ ride lift from Top Gun? It's on Ebay for 750. 00 and some change. I want a lift that will clear 37" tires but ride as good as factory. I won't be going off road or abuseing it, Just like a lifted trucks look. If you upgrade to Bilstien shocks the price jumps up to 900. 00 and some change. Or do any of you guys have a better lift option for close to the same price? I'm driving a 07 CTD Quad cab. Thanks, Paul

KORE make a good system for more money. I know Carli is a real good system but I don't know much about it.

What is a ball park price on the KORE system... ..... It looks like the recon system is all I need.

The Kore Recon System for the 3rd gen truck sells for $1580. You will most likely have to clearance the rear part of the front fender to clear 37" tires with the stock backspacing wheel.

First, there are way more experienced folks out there that can provide stronger technical data in supporting their opinions than I (note made). With that said, Top Gun seems to be an OK lift at a great price (not that I've ever used one). As JApol states, Kore and Carli, (along with Lorenz), are the top runners with well beaten and proven track records in the racing and off road scene. Ultimately, in the end, you pay for what you get (for the most part), especially based on its application and intended use (i. e. hard off roading will normally break the lower end systems more quickly).

Standard lifts start with Leveling Kits (1-3" block inserts) up to full on Coil/Leaf/Shock replacement lifts. Prices range from a few hundred dollars all the way up to several thousand dollars depending on what you get. Also, you have to consider who's going to do the labor and factor that into your pricing allowance. Do it your self is cheaper but required the downtime, tools, and good temper control .

I suppose a little patience and some heavy duty research along with a serious look into your pocket book will provide the right answer you are looking for.

Hope this helps and good luck in your lifting adventure.

Ohhhh... . yeh. Just got off the phone with one of my clients. Sunday was the day that will go down in the history books.

There will be a detailed write up of the High End Systems. Excel spread sheets, biased and unbiased opinions from customers of LORENZ, Carli and kore, pictures, and all around good time.

MORE TO COME!!!
