Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) What is the next and smartiest step for my 02 ho?

I have a 02 2500 4x4 6 speed high output, South bend DD, 200hp DDp injectors, Edge drag comp, htt htb2 64/14, htt exhaust manifold, 4in with 5in stacks, 150 Fass, afe pro guard 7, oringed head, diprical pyro fuel boost, 093 injector lines. . What is next?

Smarty for sure! It really woke my truck up. Stacks great with Drag Comp & the injectors in your sig would only make it that much better.

Fox: Its kinda funny. I drag race, sled pull and haul hay in summer time on the farm. I pretty much do it all!! Thats the fun in a cummins aint it?



Blacksheep: If you can explain. What is a TST full boogie? I dont get but 90hp out of my edge bc i have a high output engine. .

My Bosch guy made up a special pump for an 02 HO. It idled smooth but about 50 rpm higher, gave about 85 hp with big injectors that formerly were draining the HO pump so they didn't work as well as they should with the HO.

Buy the TST PM3 which is adjustable by remote. You can also have it reprogrammed with the Twins program.



By 'Full Boogie" I simply meant don't buy the box without the remote.

Guys have stacked Tst/Drag Comps, but I saw one on a dyno in Reedsville, WV. & he actually lost power. I'd stay with Smarty... . It is awesome! I remember reading a post on here where a guy said that he stacked Tst/comp/smarty, but I can't remember who did it or where I read it. I don't think that I'd try this combo.

On a high output engine the hp I get out of a edge is only 90hp? Right

Actually, it all depends! Because you already have other mods on your truck adding a new mod may mean that new mod adds less or more than it would without the previous mods. Only way to know is dyno as you go! Or, use the poor man's dyno - SOP (seat of pants). Unless you are racing or pulling that is the only thing that matters anyway.

Haven't seen any dyno numbers of TST or Edge with/without Smarty. I do know that a friend's '01 HO ran good with a Drag Comp but when he installed a Hot Rod VP44 the Drag Comp didn't add nearly as much. From what I have experience with, go with the TST/Smarty, then add water/meth, then a camshaft.

You need to do a HRVP I just put one on and it will allow for your Big stick to give full fuel. The electronics will work about the same maybe 100hp I made about 35 more hp than my previos set up now I went to some II Dragon flows and it feels much meaner man I need O-rings in this thing... I think I probubly picked up 20hp so at our next Dyno day when I hit the "Water/Meth" I'll be chaseing 600hp...



HRVP then water/meth is my choice but I love my Smarty...

Dragon Flows #1 on the market by my book! I got 500 hp on the dyno with the dragon flows, Htb2 62/12 & edge comp [standard] only..... you should get 600. I didn't have no other mods at the time.

I have it set at 55 lbs. now..... It seems like it is more efficient, but guys have said that 45lbs is the most efficient. I love my SS 62 ldp... . have I said that before? Damn... . I just read your sig..... you better get some orings & studs in that thing! How you like your 62 ldp? How much boost?
