the fuel filter housing? It's on the rear edge and plugs into a cable harness.
I just noticed last night that it wasn't plugged in. Plugged it back together and now I have a Check Engine Light.
Pulled it apart, light gone.
It's not for water, that would be in the bottom. Does it sense Low Fuel Pressure? If so, then it must be "open circuit" in a normal condition and "closed circuit" when it trips the light.
I just gotta buy the manual... .
