What is this thing?

I found this thing in the passenger floorboard of the daughter’s new-to-her 2004 Ranger Edge. I had removed the floor console and the 5-speed shifter arm. Coins are for size reference. It’s purple-ish and spongy.

I just want to make sure it's not part of the truck that fell out.
