What is this truck worth?

I am going to get more info as soon as I can, but here is what I know. It is a first gen truck with rebuilt f & r axles, rebuilt transfer case, new transmission(could be rebuilt, but core), I was told new driveshafts, 3000 miles on a set of 16x10 aluminum wheels and tires. The body is pretty well worhless. The flywheel and adapter is broken. I am guessing it is an auto transmission, since I did a search and found the auto transmission flexplates are common to breaking. I need to find out the year of the truck to see if it has the inline or rotary pump. The engine is supposed to run OK. The owner is getting tired of spending the money for the flywheel and adapter. If it rains tomorrow, I am going to go and look at it.

Sounds like you may be better off to go find a good one. Bucks add up fast! Now if it is really cheap, the parts do have good value! Post a few photos, I would hate to spend over 1500 for what little you have described. Its not like you can put a load on the engine to get an idea what you are working with there. Not many go bad, but..... Glen
