New to site sooo much info, this is great. what is WOT and what kind of pressure should I get with my stock lift pump ? How low can the pressure be and not hurt the injector pump?

1999 2500 QC Magna flow stainless 4"' superchip,airraid airfilter

WOT= Wide open throttle

Lift Pump Pressure= Should be 12-16 psi

LP pressures should be at or above a minimum of 8 psi

Just my opinion.....

WOT LP pressure? I don't have a guage on mine, just a dummy light and it's never turned on before (under 5psi)... well other than when I first turn the key on to fire up the truck.

Not trying to be argumental, but I would not want to run without an FP gauge, or if towing an Exhaust Temp gauge. Those two are just not optional. A low FP warning light is a good thing, but still want to see what it is. You gain insight into the way things are operating with an analog gauge (fluctuations at certain times,etc).

Leo - as the others indicated - you gotta do the gauges. On my 99 that was the first thing I'd did before anything else. I went with the Westach as they were inexpensive, and closely matched the stock black field/white letters. I did the "A" pillar 3 pod mount, sprayed to color match the interior, everything fits nice and looks good. I have a snap in one of the two albums in my readers rigs that even shows the spray bomb available at the ste, ste, dealer - sorry for the studder;)
