2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission What kind of ABS computer

Hey guys, I would like to know what computer the ABS runs off of on front and rear ABS equipted trucks. Does it run off of the main computer, or does it run off of its own seperate sub computer? How does that all work? Thanks.

Open your glove box and look for a black Module behind it. It is a Kelsey Hayes ABS Controller. At least that is where it was in my 93.

No thanks. What I am actually thinking here is when I do my axle swap from a 00 to 02 with front and rear disks I was figguring I would need the computer to run the ABS off of. The thought of running off of the existing ABS computer never even crossed my mind. On second thought, mabee this should be in the first gen forum, unless anyone here can answer that. I will leave this at your discretion.
