Tire pressures

Well,I've been looking at some bed mats lately to go underneath my camper to both raise it up a bit and soften some of the shock loads since I go offroad quite a bit lately. What are some of you guys putting underneath your campers?I like the 3/4 in. rubber mats but they're kinda pricey and heavy. Anybody putting anything lighter like a closed cell foam pad?

Well, I didn't go exactly light weight, but I am very pleased with the results. I had the bed sprayed with the Rhino Liner and then I threw one of those big polyurathane horse mats over that. I wanted a firm but padded ride for my 4000-lb slide-in.

I forgot to mention that my bed is line-x'd already so I'm not really worried about rust and mildew. Anybody seen the dealer bed mats?

Just in case, make sure the one you get, will hold up to diesel fuel. Have seen some that swelled up to almost 3x the original thinckness and very soft/spongy feeling.

There used to be a place in,Medford,Ore. (It's probably still there)

that makes truck bed mats out of ground up tires. I don't know

the price but,I don't recall them being too pricey.

I've also seen mats at "Big R " in White City,Ore.

That is kind of in your part of the country.

Thanks for the ideas everybody. I just ordered the rbrubber monster mat from my local Les SChwabb for $104.
