what kind of brake fluid do you guys use?

The Motul 600 seems to be a very popular brake fluid. It is a little pricey though. I think it was $16/liter in my area, and I couldn't find a shop with any on the shelf, special order only.



I decided to use the Valvoline synthetic brake fluid. It was $5 for a quart at Autozone.

I just did the front brakes on my truck and flushed the fluid out as I installed Valvoline SynPowersynthetic. It's DOT 3 and DOT 4, and is compatible with conventional fluid.



Is it better? I don't know. But you don't want to save too much money on brake fluid.



I also got mine at Autozone, for about $5 a quart. If i remember correctly, it took two quarts to replace all the fluid.

Motul! It is race proven. Its a little more

expensive than the rest but what is $10 compared

to not stopping on a big downgrade.
