What kind of guy buys a GM Avalanche?

Who goes to the bank and borrows money for these things? I see them in traffic and laugh out loud. I can see in most vehicles where they will appeal to someone but this one stumps me.....



a - Macho dude that uses it to drive up mountains and forge streams on his way to triathlons?



b - Owns stock in the plastics industry?



c - The guys who helped design the fender wells on the '55 Nash?



d - A guy buying as much truck as his wife will let him have?

GM sure has a way with auto design, between the Aztec and the Avalanche it doesnt get any uglier. The only thing I can think of thats uglier is a 1960 Plymouth.

Those Aztecs are also very ugly. Some of these small 4 door trucks look funny as well. Esp the one that converts to a truck by removeing the rear window. Go figure.

A guy I work with bought one. He is the guy whose live-in girlfriend moved out on him several years ago because he wasn't making enough $$ to suit her. She recently made up with him and moved back in since he now makes better money. Wedding bells are rumored.
