This is my first post because i have kept myself busy reading all of the great info this site offers. This question is all personal preference, I am trying to decide between two tires both the same size (285-75-R16). The two I am trying to decide between are the Bridgestone Dualer A/T Revo's, my buddy has them and loves them, tirerack.com also rates these tires very high. The other is the Toyo Open Country A/T, I don't know anyone with them but I have heard good things on this site and others. I am looking for a good all around tire that can handle snow, mud, rocks, and has good road charecteristics. I have a 2001. 5 2500 CTD quad cab long bed, I tow every other weekend with the load rarely going over 8k including the trailor. Thanks for the responses in advance.

I run Nitto Terra Grappler all terrains. Great tire. Between those two, I dont know much about the Bridgestones. The Toyo's I have heard good things about.

I have the Revo's. They are great on the road. Much better than the stock Michelin's. The snow and rain performance is excellent. I wasn't impressed with the mud performance though. I have about 20k on them with 1 rotation and have about 1/2 tread remaining. I don't tow much at all so I can't help there. The Revo's have been great on the wife's Durango as well, she loves them. With that being said, I'm looking into the Terra Grapplers next time around for both load range E and aesthetic reasons.

I have Pro-Comp X-terrains and they ride as comfortable as possible, they sing a little but just put the right foot down and let the cummins sing and the tire noise goes away . . . . . .
