Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) What Lift Pump Is American?

My fuel pump is goin and I was reading other posts and read about some pumps being manufactured over seas and bought by Cummins but did not last. I seen a Delphi lift pump online for $150. 00, is this a good name? Thanks.

FASS System manufactured and assembled in the USA. I have one, and I like it.

Check with the Case tractor dealer and see if his are Carters. American made, you just have to change out one fitting.

To change the Cummins p/n to a Case p/n just drop the 3 at the beginning and add a J. Shadrach

I just got a lift pump and gaskets from Pure Diesel Power 1994-1998 Dodge 12V Cummins Mechanical Lift Pump Cummins 4988747 for about $94. It has Cummins on the side as a genuine Cummins part but made in China. Good Luck. It is difficult getting to the fuel line fittings on top of the pump any hints.

J. If you pull the filter off and get a light in there you can see and get to the back fitting with not to much trouble. Its either that or pull the starter and try to get up from undernieth which is a real PIA... . I went from the top on mine and with minimal bad words got it to break free and come right out...
