What makes a 3500 a 3500 besides 2 extra tires ?

On the diesel powered Dodge 3500, the auto and standard both have Dana 80's, the auto 2500 was a 70. There also may have been a lighter duty t-case in some 2500's.

All of my 2500 had Dana 80 what's different about the dually Dana 80 besides hubs ?
