I just (last night) received a speeding ticket for going 73 MPH which I KNOW is BS. I was actually going around 60 MPH when I got clocked.

The spot where I got clocked is right about 1/4 from the side street I had turned from. I had just made a right hand turn at a traffic light and was also traveling up a hill (significant grade) to the spot where I was clocked.

I was NOT running at WOT or even close to it at the time I was going up this hill.

So based on what you see in my Sig, what speed (MPH) "should" my truck run the 1/4 mile in ??

BTW, my truck has over-sized tires as well. 285/70-16s Revos. I know already my speedo is OFF by about 10% (reading slower) because of the tire height difference.

Here's pics of my Dragster!

You have about the same setup that I used to and I ran a 15. 1 at 91mph I think. You may be a tad slower than that. I would say upper 15's in the 80's mph.

you should be able to run high 80's, easily, in the 1/4. back when my truck had an 11 plate and nothing else, it would run 87 or so mph in the 1/4.

with a 10 and dodgezilla and scotty (stock exhaust), it runs low 90's in the 1/4.

I think you could easily be doing 73 in the 1/4. I know mine will runs high 14's in the low 90's.

If you are going to fight it, ask if the radar device was calibrated recently.

That is definately one question I'm going to ask. I believe the cop got a shadow reading off another car.

Anyone else have experience fighting a speeding ticket
