I hope this is in the right spot.

I Have a western diesel box with 65 horses and I would like to get rid of that and get something else with more horsepower.

I do tow some things like horses ,furniture, quads, snowmobiles the horses and furniture being the heaviest. My question is what would be the best for power , egt's and reliability? also My boost goes to 36 right now Is that okay? :)

Think long and hard about where you are (altitude), where you tow, how much weight, and what you think you will be using the truck for in two years. Do some searching and build from there.

Injectors

bigger box

more transmission upgrades

bigger turbo

exhaust brake

...

See my signature for the rig we use to tow our 13,500 lb 5th wheel. The only things I'd do differently today are:

1. Instead of the EZ, I'd probably go with Diesel Dynamic's TTPM, or maybe even the UFM, box since their less aggressive timing is a better match for the HO with injectors.

2. Instead of the DD2's (which can be smokey off boost), I might go with an equivalent EDM injector.

With this setup, we can pull 6% grades in 6th gear and still run a maximum pre-turbo EGT of 1225 degF @ 34 PSIG boost.

By the way, that 36 PSIG boost sounds high for only a box with no injectors. You might check to see if your wastegate actuator is locked closed. I'd suggest a boost elbow as a better approach to get extra boost without overspeeding/overstressing the turbo and building too much heat in the intake charge.
