GIT-R-DONE

What oil do you use for in the Manual transmissions for the first genners. I am looking for the viscosity or weight of oil to use. Also , are there any friction modifiers or anything like that you have to put in? TIA
 
Getrag recommended lube is 5W30 engine oil. Never heard of anyone using additive in one. Overfilled by 1-1. 5 quarts. Synthetic is best. 3. 5qts is factory fill, which is about 1 qt too low.
