I just installed the FASS. First thing I noticed was how much smooth the truck is running. Anyways my FP gauge is seeing 21 PSI @ idle. Is this too high and if so what what is a good pressure to run the FASS system at

Mine runs 13-16 psi all the time. Idle pressure goes down a bit with hot, thin fuel and up a little with cold, thick fuel. WOT only pulls it down 1 psi if that. Don't know if 21psi is too high or not. It is supposed to come with a 15psi spring. You could have the wrong pressure spring in the return regulator?? You might want to call DPP on that one.

WOW! With that high of pressure do you have any hard to start problems.

My kit didnt come with any extra springs. I was thinking the PSI should be around 13 to 16 also at idle

When I put my FASS 11 in and fired it up, I had 22 psi. Over the course of a few weeks it dropped down to 17 which was a little more comfortable for me. It stabilized there and has been holding steady for 40,000 miles.

I found it started a little differently but I quickly came up with a procedure that started as fast as original. I click the key on, the guage comes up for the two second run. I wait till it starts to drop and hit the starter and she fires right up. If I try to start it immediately without waiting the couple of seconds, she will turn over and ususally not start before I let go. Wait a second or two, hit it again and off she goes. A little different but having the rock steady fuel pressure is worth it.
