What's the best choice for a fuel pressure gauge kit to add on my 2001? Genos offers one 0-16 psi. and another 0-30 psi. I'm planning on adding a BD pusher pump to the system to help save any future lift pump troubles.

What gauge kit available do you folks find works best??

Thanks!

just an opinion

Personally, If I were doing it again I'd go with tho 30lb gauge next time. Even with stock pump i am at or very near the 15 lb mark at idle. (pressures confirmed with a handheld gauge). I just don't like the look of a pegged needle and with a broader range the needle wouldn't be moving so much out of the corner of my eye. Just my opinion.

anybody want to trade an autometer z series 0-15 for a 0-30?

:)

I'll second that...

I've got the DiPricol 0-30 PSI fuel pressure gauge, and would not go with anything less. Just my opinion, though. I don't care for the "pegged needle" either. Additionally, some guys have seen 16 or so PSI with a new lift pump, and many with an added pusher have seen even more. If you were going to stay stock, you could get by with the 0-15, but I would definitely go with the 30 pound gauge if adding a pusher.

0-30 PSIG. Both sides of my Westach dual combo 0-16 PSIG gauge (pre and post filter fuel pressure) stay pegged at idle, and I'm still on the original lift pump!

I have a 0-30psig from Hewitt. Good gauge, and good lighting (lights through the face). Got it from Enterprise.

I figured I wanted gauges that centered right where I would need it most. That meant a 30psi FP gauge and a 60psi boost gauge for me.
