Just wanted to see what poeple are taching there trucks up to while cruising on the highway

Around 2000rpm at 70mph.

That is an interesting result. !!!!!! I keep mine around 2100/2200 on the hwy. Rowing through the gears in traffic I will take it as high as 2600. But that is about it.



It seems like she likes it better just over 2,000 RPM. Everything smooths out and life is good... . :-laf

If I'm shooting for High MPG I'll do a lot lower than that (borderline lugging).

Mine tacks @ 1500RPM going 70MPH, thanks to the Gearvender. MPG 20-22, and loving it.

I'm with RAJ on this one. Just before I hit the cruise control, I switch to hi gear on my gearvender, and run 70 MPH @ 1500-1600 RPM. Hi fuel mileage, lo noise, life is good. When pulling a load, I leave the auto trans out of O/D but put the gearvender in hi, she runs 65MPH @ around 1900-2000 RPM.
